Basic Safety Considerations and Camp out line
Campsite:
We have two private group campgrounds, separated by a dirt road. This gives us the most possible privacy. We’re in the bigger campground, which is roughly 3 parts, a group area, camping space and the hunt zone. The group area is closest to the parking lot and accessible by a very short flight of stairs, about 5 steps. There are no wheelchair ramps but we have people on wheelchairs who get lots of help! There is a covered pavilion, grills and a fire pit all connected by paved walkways. There are little alcoves scattered around, great for anything that might involve tying people to trees. Past all of that is the hunt zone, which is somewhat densely forested, the ground is uneven, dirt, loose rock and yes, some cacti. We mark the bigger cacti beds so they can be avoided. Then there is an open flat field that can be used for pitching tents. Or getting caught and dragged into the woods.
PLEASE KEEP THE HUNT ACTIVITIES TO THE HUNT ZONE and any spicy shenanigans away from the road, this includes the pavilion. Some people end up running through and around the group area, that’s ok. But once caught any kind of sexual and/or rough play should be happening in the woods. The event attendees who are not participating in the hunt have not consented to seeing those activities. If you are not part of the hunt, please stay out of the hunt zone while the hunt is happening. Hunt monitors will have a yellow armband.
The perimeter of the hunt zone will be marked, stay inside of it. Participants will be given whistles in case they get lost or there is an emergency.
Safety
As I have emphasized all along, the Hunt is the epitome of RACK and PRICK play. By participating you understand and agree that injuries or other damage could happen, and it is up to you to play as safely as possible.
• You MUST wear appropriate footwear. If you don’t have the right shoes, you will not be allowed to hunt. Ideally boots. Runners are acceptable too, but they must be sturdy. Flip flops, Teva’s and street shoes are not acceptable. Being nude is allowed but I encourage something covering your bits for protection.
• Please use condoms. Do not dispose of them in the woods.
• Don’t wear anything super loose and flowy, lots of pokey branches
• KNOW YOUR LIMITS. Both physically and mentally.
• Respect the colors, use BDSM consent and check-in’s
We have professional healthcare providers present, we have an extensive first aid kit. If something happens beyond those capabilities, we will get you to an ER or call 911. We also have an aftercare tent with someone who specializes in aftercare (not a mental health professional) on hand. We will take care of you to our fullest capabilities, but injuries still happen, it’s up to you to keep yourself as safe as possible.
Know your limits, communicate, speak up if there are concerns.
Hunt well.
